The priest may have taken a hit through the actions of those who hold that office, but the archetype of Priest is something that cannot be dispensed with. At the third eye is the High Priestess, but without her Priest she only sees in the horizontal plane, spatial truths, which are momentary. As we pray to see what God sees, our third eye lifts upward to the Crown, the High Priest. He provides the vertical or top down view. One of these views without the other keeps us from seeing the Whole Truth. This collaboration expands and invites the 8th or Soul Star chakra to penetrate the brain and come into the center where the four roads meet. This now activates the actual All Seeing Eye, the Eye of the I from which nothing is hidden, and giving the omniscient view we may see then more than we can say, for we are seeing in a sacred manner the shape of all things, as Black Elk has said. Now we must surrender unedited what we have seen to the sacral, the Boddhisatva, allowing the query to be addressed in the void. It is then that the distillation of the interaction is passed to the throat chakra, and some kind of expression of the soul can come forth through the Divine Identity. Now words of light, in support of life reveal the voice of true Truth. Where this communication process begins is in the heart with divine love and next through the solar plexis as we activate our divine willingness to see what God sees. This frees our soul to love like the Creator loves, to see the bigger, deeper, higher, finer truths of our situations... to see the layers of reality until we see the call for love. This is the Lovekeepers Rite.

Just learn to hold space... it goes a long way... you do not have to be up in everyone's grill. Soul to soul communication is often silent. Because of this it addresses and calls forth the other person's soul... and not their demons. Become disinterested in giving other people's demons a platform or an audience. This will require that you yourself stop feeding on useless drama. If you are on purpose or at least pointed in that direction, you've got bigger fish to fry with the energy that is wasted by trying to reason with the unreasonable. You have much more command of situations than you may real-eyes.
